Antique sterling shield fob that had been converted to a ring...1.25 x .75...about a size 8...hallmarked for Chester, England 1931...Chester is one of the more rare assay marks
These fobs were very often used as medals and awards...this particular one carries an inscription on the back from the White Heather Gymkhana (horse show) in England dated 17 September 1932 to T. Robinson for the barrel race (for all you can chasers!)
