Renew Your Mind

How do we become transformed? The Bible answers this question in a number of different ways. One of the most direct biblical commands is this: "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Rom. 12:2). Throughout Peter Wagner’s life, he has always tried to be open to new ideas, many times needing to replace old ideas. Some old ideas are bad and they need to be discarded; some are good and they need to be preserved; while some old ideas are good but they need to be changed as we move into God’s new times and seasons. If you are open to that, you are willing to renew your mind and therefore to be transformed.

 Peter Wagner has taken the time to review his 60+ years in ministry in an attempt to list the major paradigm shifts that he has experienced. This DVD contains explanations of the 17 major shifts Wagner has identified accompanied by an audio reading of additional explanations for each.

I am not trying to make converts to my point of view. I would regard this as arrogant and egotistical, and I don’t want to go there. What I do ask is that you come to your own conclusions, but that you respect my conclusions as well. None of us has a corner on the fine details of Christian theology.
